1It all starts with an initial meeting.
This meeting typically takes an hour or so, but the clock is never ticking. We take as much time as needed to get to know you, understand your goals and learn what matters most to you. We also discuss your current financial situation and what your primary objectives are.
2Then, we gather information.
During our second meeting, we’ll start talking numbers. We’ll gather detailed information and even give you some homework that will provide more insight into your current situation and future goals. After this meeting, and once we’ve gathered all the information we need, it’s our turn to get to work creating a plan for you.
3We’ll present our proposed plan and recommendations.
At the third meeting, we’ll present our ideas, suggestions and recommendations. This will include a comprehensive, step-by-step plan of action. And we’ll provide lots of details about projections, timelines and contingencies. Then, we’ll discuss the plan with you. We’ll answer all your questions and make adjustments. Once we’ve finalized your plan, we’ll start the work of putting it into action.
4We’ll meet at least twice a year for a ‘check-up.’
Either virtually or in person, we’ll gather for a quick review to ensure you’re on track to achieve your goals. During these meetings, we’ll also evaluate any changes to your situation — and there are always changes — that need to be factored into the plan. Even though we only schedule two meetings a year, you can rest assured that we’re always on call and available to help you at any time, and with anything you need.
